IBM iX UX Audit
Key findings
- The pages lack user journey – where the user needs to focus. We need a better defined end-goal for these pages to craft a more involved user experience.
- We need a primary CTA on the page , which should be a focal point…where we want to lead the user to.
- The pages seem to be a dead-end where the user can either find out more about certain case studies / other reports/ products, etc or schedule a consultation (a generic link). We need more targeted CTAs that will engage the user on the pages.
- Contact us needs to be more defined. Adding Contact us / Schedule a consultation multiple times makes it feel redundant.
- Case studies have very little traction. We may want to select one or two case studies and feature them on the page instead of adding a bunch of cards.
- We should be careful about adding too many of CTAs on the page. A high number CTAs confuses the user. Also we should be using Button CTAs sparingly to lay emphasis on certain important links.
- Too much content on the pages. Users want to scan the pages. They don’t read through the bands. Our pages are very content heavy. We should look into reducing these.
- We should also avoid adding very long CTAs – specially the ones that are breaking into two lines.
- The think band right under the leadspace is crowding up the page above the fold. the anchor links are also getting lost.
